Pam talks about juicer, “Oscar” in Episode 5
Pam’s favorite ingredients (so far) are kale, cucumber, romaine lettuce, pineapple and beets. She now knows which vegetable/fruit offers what kind of nutrition.
- Beets are a great detoxifier – loaded with iron, potassium, folic acid, beta-carotene, vitamin A, C, B, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and chlorophyll
- Pineapple is a great source of bromelin – terrific anti-inflammatory properties
- Romaine Lettuce has more Vitamin C, folic acid, leutin and zeaxantin than other lettuces
- Kale has lots of Vitamin K, which relaxes blood vessels and help bones stay strong and healthy
- Cucumber is a good source of Vitamin A, pantothenic Acid, magnesium, phosphorus and manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin C and K and potassium
